Client Agreement and Practice Policies
Welcome. The following outlines how I work and the terms under which therapy is offered. These policies help protect the time, structure, and integrity of the therapeutic process for both of us.
1. Booking and Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice — or missed appointments — will be charged at the full session fee. This policy ensures fairness and allows the appointment to be offered to someone else in need when possible.
Please note, sessions are available to book from 24 hours up to one month in advance.
If you don’t see future availability, it may be due to planned time away or full bookings. You’re welcome to get in touch if you’re unsure or would like to be notified when new dates are released.
2. Fees and Payment
My fee is £80 per one-hour session. Payment is required in advance for all booked sessions by secure online payment. Sessions will commence upon receipt of payment. Payment details will be provided at the time of booking.
4-Session Package is offered at £290 valid for use within 6 months. Ideal for clients committed to structured progress.
-Coupons
Coupon codes may be issued for specific clients or events and are non-transferable. Any attempt to use a coupon code not intended for you will be declined.
3. Session Planning
Discovery Call (Free 15-minute Introduction)
This complimentary call provides an opportunity to discuss your questions and determine if we’re the right fit before starting sessions. Please note, this is an introductory conversation—not a full session—and may lead to tailored consulting.
Initial Consultation (First Full Session)
This first official session includes an additional 30 minutes at no extra charge. It gives us the time to explore your goals in detail, answer any questions you may have, and collaboratively set clear objectives before moving into regular personalised sessions.
Duration
Personalised sessions usually involve 4 to 10 meetings, though this can vary based on individual objectives and goals—and to ensure the process remains useful and effective.
Before the final scheduled session, we’ll review your progress together to decide whether the work will conclude at that point or whether additional sessions may be helpful. This review is part of our shared commitment to make the progress useful and well-timed.
4. Confidentiality
What you share in sessions is confidential. I will not disclose any information without your written consent, unless required by law or if there is a risk of serious harm to you or others.
5. Emergencies
I do not provide crisis or emergency support. If you are in crisis or feel unable to keep yourself safe, please contact emergency services or attend your local A&E department.
6. Communication Between Sessions
Email or phone communication is limited to practical matters such as rescheduling or cancellations. Therapeutic content should be brought to sessions.
I do not use messaging apps such as WhatsApp for client communication, in order to protect confidentiality and maintain clear professional boundaries. Please also note that email is not a fully secure method of communication, so sensitive information should not be shared via email.
7. Agreement
By attending your first session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
