Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH) is an evidence-based approach that integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with hypnosis to deliver a powerful, results-focused method for addressing psychological and behavioural challenges. Grounded in the structured, scientifically validated principles of CBT, CBH enhances the process with the focused, experiential depth of hypnosis, improving emotional engagement and effectiveness. This approach works in the present moment, targeting how individuals perceive and respond to situations. By promoting rational, balanced thinking, CBH supports faster, sustainable change tailored to each client’s values and objectives, making it a compelling choice for those seeking meaningful change.

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of awareness, focused attention and heightened suggestibility often accompanied by deep physical relaxation where you are more open to positive suggestions, but you can never be made to do anything against your will. It allows individuals to bypass their usual critical thinking processes, making it easier to access and influence subconscious patterns of thought, emotion, and behaviour. It is not mind control, sleep nor magic. You are fully aware & in control throughout.
-
If you're ready to make real, lasting changes and want a structured, practical approach with an evidence-based track record, CBH is often an excellent fit. My goal is to support you in becoming your own therapist, empowering you with the tools to create lasting change.

CBH can be effective for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, stress, sleep problems, phobias, confidence, public speaking, and unhelpful thinking patterns. If you’re not sure, feel free to reach out to discuss your specific situation.
-
Yes, hypnosis is simply a natural state of focused attention, and people with strong, analytical minds often benefit greatly once they understand the process. Intelligence, a sense of curiosity and a vivid imagination are a plus.
-
Sessions typically include talking through your goals, identifying unhelpful patterns, and using hypnosis to reinforce positive, balanced thinking. You’ll also receive practical exercises to use between sessions.
-
The number of sessions varies depending on your personal objectives/ goals, but CBH is designed to be efficient, often achieving results more quickly than many traditional therapies. It is typically short-term, usually 4-10 sessions, which we review together as needed to decide if any further support is required.
-
No prior support, therapy, or coaching experience is necessary. CBH meets you where you are, offering a clear, structured approach to achieving your objectives and delivering meaningful, sustainable change.

CBH is highly effective for most people, but it may not be suitable for those with certain psychiatric conditions. I can discuss this with you during an initial consultation.

My fee is £80 per one-hour session, payable in advance via secure online payment. The first appointment is 1.5 hours to allow extra time for initial exploration—this additional 30 minutes is included at no extra cost.
I also offer a 4-session package for £290, valid for use within 6 months—ideal for those committed to regular, structured progress. Although you have up to 6 months to use all 4 sessions, most clients find that attending weekly or fortnightly helps maintain momentum and supports steady progress.

When you book your first appointment, that starts your 4-session package. You can then schedule the remaining appointments individually at times that suit you.

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours’ notice — or missed appointments — will be charged at the full session fee.
This policy is in place to protect the time and structure of the work, ensure fairness, and allows the appointment to be offered to someone else in need when possible.
Please note: To help things run smoothly you’re welcome to book appointments at least 24 hours in advance and up to one month ahead. If you don’t see future availability, it may be due to planned time away or full bookings. Feel free to get in touch if you’re unsure or would like to be notified when new dates are released.
